Handmade sunglasses with reclaimed wood from fallen trees of Patagonia.
We work with native wood from Chilean Patagonia and other areas of southern Chile, all from certified sustainable sources – respecting the highest standards of environmental responsibility. Our wood comes from demolition stocks, fallen trees and controlled forests, where we find the ancestral wisdom that makes our eyewear unique.

Thought for wearing every day out in nature and in the city, combining functionality and design
Instead of a linear and extractive production process, we are working hard to build our entire value chain under a circular and regenerative model.. How?
We are replacing the use of toxic materials, like virgin plastic, for local and noble materials. These sunglasses are handmade with reclaimed native wood from fallen trees of Patagonia.
The waste collected by local entrepreneurs becomes a source of income, which they use as seed capital to start their own micro-businesses, together with their families.
Every Karün customer is helping us fund the work with over 600 rural entrepreneurs and their families. Working together to protect the iconic Valley of Cochamó with our friends from Balloon Latam.
